Mira has always had a passion for storytelling and a genuine desire to connect. She figured this out at a young age when her mom would take her to see the touring Broadway shows that would come through her hometown. Deeply empathetic at her core, Mira fell in love with the ways that actors could connect so deeply with complete strangers through the stories that they would tell. The lights, the sounds, and the actors left a remarkable impression.
When not at The Social Collective, Mira is an actor and teacher in the Twin Cities area. On stage, she is thrilled to be a part of a community that is so focused on meaningful engagement and heartfelt interactions. In the classroom, Mira fosters an environment that promotes empathetic connection, curiosity, and, of course, fun! She hopes she inspires the same sense of wonder and appreciation for the creative arts that she discovered in her own childhood.
Mira has also done a lot of work off the stage, away from the world of theatre. Many of her first jobs involved animal farm work, life experience that shaped both her career and personal life. Whether she was halter training an alpaca, caring for a horse, or milking a goat, Mira learned that patience and trust are key to relationship building and connection. Working with animals taught her the value of hard work and how important it is to slow down, observe, and appreciate the quieter moments, something that is often hard to remember in our fast-paced world.
Mira brings her unique and diverse background to her position at The Social Collective. She loves using her passion for creative storytelling and authentic connection in her work. For her, it’s not just about the task at hand, but the stories we share and the connections we make.
